The Law Courts (Palais de Justice) are situated next to the Conciergerie on Ile de la Cite, the historic centre of Paris
The Conciergerie was a Medieval royal palace and prison during the French Revolution. It was a most dreaded place. Among those imprisoned there were Thomas Paine and Mary Antoinette.
The Conciergerie is located next to the law courts at the south end of the Pont-au-Change bridge.
Today, the Conciergerie is a museum.
Both the law courts and prison are located in the Notre Dame District of Paris France.
