The Arc de Triomphe is a huge triumphal arch that was commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 and competed in 1836. The Arc de Triomphe is over 51 meters high and 45 meters wide.

The traffic circle is called Charles de Gaulle Etoille (i.e. star).
