Paris France Tourist Information and City Guide
The RER (Réseau Express Régional) is the express rail network which serves Paris and its distant suburbs. It is comprised of five lines (A to E) that interconnects with the Métro inside Paris.
The RER can be used to reach destinations such as Versailles, Disneyland Paris, or Charles de Gaulle Airport.
One can use the same tickets and passes that are used on the Paris Metro, but you need to validate them before entering the RER platforms.
