Paris Bus Service

Paris offers an extensive local bus service that complements its Metro and RER express rail service. The acronym RER stands for "Réseau Express Régional".

There are over 350 bus lines and 12,000 stops in the city and its suburbs. The same tickets and passes that are used on the Métro and RER can also be used on board the bus.
