Northern Train Station

The Northern Station (Gare du Nord) is one of the five major rail stations in Paris France.   It is also one of the five busiest train stations in the world.

The Northern Train Station is located in the Pompidou District of Paris.

Gare du Nord handles passenger rail service from Paris to the following destinations:

Since 1994, the Gare du Nord station has been the departure point for Eurostar trains traveling to London, under the English Channel. These high-speed TVG trains stop in Ashford and Ebbsfleet in Kent England before arriving at St. Pancras Station in London. 

Reservations on are mandatory on the Paris to London TVG passenger rail service.

Train service also operates from Gare du Nord to the Roissy Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG).

The area of Paris around the Gare du Nord (North Railroad Station) and the Gare de l'Est (East Railroad Station) is a multicultural district of Paris that is famous for international markets and trendy cafés.

Hotels and other accommodation is available near the Gare du Nord train station. Gare de Nord is situated north of central Paris.
